This morning’s CPI report…and its impact on the bond market…should be very important for the housing stocks. Even though they have badly underperformed this year, there are some signs on the technical side of things which show that this group could finally see some upside momentum. However, they will NEED some help from lower mortgage rates, so the action in the bond market going forward will be key.
