• The stock market continues to revert back to being a “narrow” one.  That can still produce a rally over the near-term, but it will be difficult to sustain…especially with some growing signs that bond yields have stopped going down. 
  • Better earnings and guidance have the semiconductor stocks rallying this morning.  If this can push the SMH semiconductor ETF to a meaningful and sustained higher-high (above its all-time highs), it should be bullish for the broad market as well. 
  • Several very successful football coaches have retired recently.  One announcement…which did not get as much fanfare as others…involved a career that should put this coach in the College Football Hall of Fame…even though he didn’t spend much time on national TV.
