• We might not like it when one data point becomes extremely important for the outlook on the stock market, but there is little question that this happens from time to time.  In fact, it can be particularly important when an important fundamental data point is released at a time when the market has also reached an important technical juncture (like it has now).  Therefore, the reaction to this week’s CPI number could/should be extremely important for how the stock market acts over the rest of Q2…and maybe beyond.
