• The focus will be on earnings (especially big-tech earnings) this week in the U.S. stock market.  Several of these stocks look vulnerable on the charts, so this week (and next week) should be key for this all-important sector.
  • Material credit contractions are pretty much always followed by recessions.
  • However, we still need to keep our eyes on other global markets.  For instance, both China and South Korea (two important global markets) are showing some cracks.  If they fall further, it will raise more concerns about global growth.
