• A nice bounce in the stock market was spurred by a decline in bond yields and the growing partnership between GOOGL and NVDA on AI.  If this alliance is a catalyst for a sustained rally (like the AMD/MSFT alliance was last quarter), it will bode very well for the broad market.  If, however, the bounce fades as we move into September (like it did during earnings season)…September will be another rough month.
  • After being all but forgotten for many years in the 1990s & 2000s, the efforts by Billy Jean King to push for equal access and equal pay for women in sports (all sport, not just tennis) has been getting their proper accolades over the past decade…and the sports world is better for it.
